THE MOTHER BLOOMED GATHERING IS A RELAXED
GET-TOGETHER FOR MUMS IN MELBOURNE.
Each month we explore a different topic around motherhood, matrescence
and the woman behind the mother.
There will be a couple of prompts to spark conversation and get us talking.
NOTHING FORMAL. NOTHING YOU NEED TO PREPARE FOR.
JUST HONEST CONVERSATION, GENUINE CONNECTION
AND SPACE TO BE TOGETHER.
Whether you’re craving adult conversation, wanting to meet
some new women, curious about how motherhood has
changed you, or just an opportunity to get out of the
house for a while, you’re so welcome.
You don't need to be in a particular stage of motherhood to come along.
EACH MONTH WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT TOPIC.
Some might be about motherhood and matrescence.
Some might be about identity, relationships,
friendships, work, dreams or
life outside of motherhood.
Some might make you think.
Some might make you laugh.
And some might simply make
you say "Oh... me too."
The conversation will be lightly guided,
but there's no expectation to share.
Share as much or as little as you like.
WHY COME?
Sometimes you just need to get out, sit with other women and talk.
Motherhood can be wonderful, challenging, exhausting, confusing and everything in between.
There is something pretty special about being in a room — or a park — with women who just get it.
A place where you can talk about motherhood but also talk about you.
A little space for the woman behind the mother.
WHAT TO EXPECT.
Think casual picnic meets meaningful conversation, with women's circle vibes.
A rug. Some fruit and biscuits.
A few good questions. Time to chat and meet other women.
We'll start by settling in and getting to know each other, then explore the month's topic together before letting the conversation naturally unfold.
Nothing formal or structured.
Just come, sit, chat, listen, relax and connect.
And yes, kids are welcome.
They don't need to sit quietly while we have a meaningful conversation.
This is motherhood, after all.
